Huh. Cute idea. Look to Relentless Rats for proper wording of the ability.

good call tweaking text.

Hee. Funfun. Perfect for a deck focused on Glimpse of Nature / Recycle / Primordial Sage / Soul of the Harvest / Null Profusion. The challenge then is finding something to do with all these 0/1s; but there are plenty of answers to that, my favourite being March of Souls followed by Coat of Arms.

Does it bother anyone else that this card is, like, five times worse than Phyrexian Walker? Because I feel that card was fair. I get that sheep aren't exactly supposed to be intimidating, but I'd expect to get something else for my trouble.

The echo might be a bit much. Without the echo, this is a reprint of Crimson Kobolds, Crookshank Kobolds, and Kobolds of Kher Keep, all at once!

But with the echo, this does compare rather poorly to Ornithopter and Phyrexian Walker, it's true.

(Phyrexian Walker is such an odd card. I loved to describe it to people who've not seen it as: "This is an N/3 artifact creature, costing N mana. Its flavour text says "I have heard terrible tales of black rain and metal that screams... consoled myself that the tales were a myth... but today I saw a walker - and now I fear the truth." Any guesses as to what N might be?")

LOL. It's interesting to see which N are OK. N=0 is OK. N=1 or N=2 is probably too strong (at low rarity). N=3 is too good for common but has been printed. N=4 and N=5 are too big to be in most sets, but ok for the cost in artifact sets...

You all are right. The echo is a bit too much.

This, I like. Not powerful, but I assume you have uses for sheep, so cool.

It occurs to me, that {0} cost {w} echo is a pretty cute trick, though. You could put that on an Elite Vanguard, and it would be pretty balanced. I mean, you could play 4 on turn one, but what would it get you? Mostly, you'd want to play it with a Savannah Lions on turn one, which would be strong, but far from broken, and would require a 'two card combo'.

Mm. It's like the less painful version of Pact of the Titan.

When I created this I didn't have anything planned that worried about sheep. I was just going through random cards on gatherer and came across the Kobolds, which was something I though would be better brought back into magic with different flavor.

Any Deck running Soul Warden and friends would love this card. Thrumming Stone also loves this card.

Soul Warden doesn't particularly benefit from this unless you've also done a Glimpse of Nature. With just a Soul Warden and a handful of these, this just lets you discard cards from hand to gain 1 life, which is rather worse than Healing Salve.

Thrumming Stone is a great way to dump your deck onto the table though :)
