"Land creature" as in "It is also a land" or "It loses flying"?

Kinda an odd card either way. Nice though - red aggro, or setting something up for a Shock.

All the earlier comments on "How do you want misdirection to operated, because I fear it currently might not quite do what you expect" here, though.

what do you mean? this can function as a combat trick for either side, or affect things that care about lands. land as in it is also a land :P

Ok; was asking because it seemed like becoming a land was very unlikely to matter.

It would protect things from being destroyed by shield that target nonland permanents.

Converting the creature into a land generates a million problems for virtually no gain.

what problems? and this is playing into a land theme next set

Some problems understanding rules, but mostly it's confusing and out-of-place. If the next set is doing it in quantity that could be okay.

If you want next set to be land-oriented, I suggest this weird stuff be there. This set should also have some seeds, like cards that count lands or whatever.
