I don't like the idea of 2 pump spells in
common. A small critter with ETB: draw a card might be abetter fit (maybe

1/1 hexproof, ETB: draw a card?)
If one of them's a sorcery and the other's an instant, I'd say it's okay. It certainly defines what
means in this set, but assuming Tenebrae wants
to be understood as a creature growth guild, having both this and Nature's Wings, one sorcery and one instant at common, will help get that across.
i think i am going to change this, just because i don't want the fae to come across as mainly a creature growth guild.
Draw two cards, one cheaper than divination, but gold... Scary! Plausibly fair, but scary! And common? That's gonna warp an environment out of recognition.
yeah i was thinking this was toeing the line. i do want it to be a card draw spell... any suggestions?
Oh, it's plausible. Just scary. If you want to do it, go for it! Sets should do some scary stuff sometimes.
Could be "If you control a creature, draw two cards" - still almost always Divination but gold cards do often replace
with
and the creature mention makes it solidly a green style of card draw; and green gets card draw secondary...
But it's gonna lead to a LOT of turn 2 and 3 card drawing :)
That's fine. This is not Divination for the classic draw-go control-style decks that want it (well, they really want Inspiration, but in its absence they'll accept Diviation). And the condition does indeed make it green. I think this is nifty and spot on.
alright. i do want
to be very centered on card draw in this environment, so i'm going to leave this to really push it
