Costing this is interesting. Nettle Swine says that a 4/3 vanilla is {3}{g}; Sentinel Spider says that adding just {g} gives you Vigilance, Reach, +0/+1. So even {4}{g} feels quite harsh for this chap.

I think {2}{g}{g} is probably the right place; trading 1 toughness for Vigilance against Rumbling Baloth

Yeah, this is good at either 4/4 for {4}{g} or 4/3 for {2}{g}{g}.
