Strictly worse than Madcap Skills in two ways. Admittedly Madcap Skills is extremely good as Auras go, but still.

Adding three points of permanent power can be very important when it comes to dominance. Also, this can force opponents creatures to attack, which I wouldn't say is strictly worse.

Heh, OK, I guess it can be used to take out an opposing creature if you've got enough first strike or just willing to 1-for-2 yourself.

Not exactly a bad combo with Chains of Fire

It's entirely possible this card is straight up horrible.

Well, I wouldn't go that far. It plays into the same kind of play as Riot Piker (and in fact would be great on Riot Piker). In-set, even if the opponent has a big first-strike blocker this card will grant dominance for one turn's second main phase and the next turn's first main phase, which may be enough on its own. And once in a blue moon it'll be usable to take out an opposing creature, so no, I think it's fine.

Heck, with first strike, or creatures that are going to be attacking anyway (or, as I like to call them, red creatures) it's just a plain bigass power boost. And using it to Siren's Call an opponents utility creature (or just fat blocker if you're going pure aggro) is just lubbly.

It's a fine card. It's not a power-nine-rare; but I'd be perfectly happy to draft five of this.

Maybe only one, but I'd draft it too. It works with a very specific deck full of wall and evaders, and maybe a little emergency bounce (It's kind of funny with Hoodwink as well,) but a questionable choice in a lot of other decks.

There's nothing wrong with that. If this was Wizards, though, and I was helping to develop this set, I'd look to see if that deck existed... and if it didn't, I'd tell design to hold this card for a set where it would be great.
