Missing flavourtext: "Wheeeeeeeee!"
Mythic rare doesn't feel quite right for a land. The flavor is also odd, though it could be fixed in the art. The triggered ability should probably be placed first, lest it be mistakenly considered part of the first activated ability. Giving haste to your Orc token conflicts with the unhasty tokens created by Destructive Burrows; it would be best to have the tokens of the same color and size be identical.
Wizards are fine with tokens being identical to other tokens in the same set except for haste: see Goblin Assault. It's because it's effectively transient, like the deathtouch from Gilt-Leaf Ambush. The flavour is meant to be that the Orc just occasionally manages to climb the mountain and get onto the back of a dragon, but I can see that might not come across... Swapping the order of the abilities makes sense though.
Actually, having tried it, the abilities look really wrong in the other order. The two abilities relating to the Orc really need to be next to each other.
Kronik says this is one of his two favourite cards in the set.
I assumed it was dragons flinging orcs off the top of the mountain. This is far more orcy and wonderful, though I couldn't find art for it.
You know what would be really cool and for a mythic i dont think would be all that overpowered, paying for the last ability and attaching the land to an orc, giving it +5/+5 and flying, kind of like the mount experiments here and there, although the wording would be weird though.
Heh. Like an Artifact Land - Equipment? I was strongly considering one of them for this set. It got pulled in the end not because of power, but because the flavour is extremely weird of one creature "carrying around" an entire land.
Yeah the land flavor is a bit weird, although since this is a set about card types why not make a new card type, "Mount" you could attach it and have it give a plus plus effect and an ability, many designers have tried to incorporate this into creatures and they attach, lose the type creatures and become mount attachments, i think if you go with the attachment way, you could make it an artifact land - equipment, just have it lose the land type as its equipped so its slightly better flavor and rules wise.
Like 4RRR: ~ is no longer a land and becomes an artifact equipment, attach it to a creature you control. Equipped creature gets +5/+5 and gains flying. ? maybe, it would definetely be a interesting card to build around, you would have to decide if the complexity is worth it, you can have as much complexity in one set without it being to overwhelming for the player, just a couple of complex card per set i think.
