Only creatures use the "dies" terminology.

only people who haven't read the comprules would say that. nowhere in the CR prohibits other permanents to die.

That's a bit of a rude comment given Link's long history on this site of creating clever and rules-compliant cards. Especially because, while your second sentence is technically correct, it's misleading: Wizards deliberately avoid using "dies" on cards that are likely to trigger off noncreature permanents going to the graveyard (even Boggart Shenanigans because of the block it was printed in).
