This mana cost is so ugly.

Hm. My impression is that Replenish is considered broken by modern standards, though I don't recall quite why. Retether and Open the Vault seem to support this too.

Having played against Replenish, I can tell you that it was close to broken by 1999 standards. The only reason why it was fair was because there were worse boogey-men in standard.

Is Replenish broken now? I suppose that depends on how many Tolarian Winds type effects you can pull together, and whether any card/cards can play the Opalescence role. I do know that without Attunement and Frantic Search, Replenish loses a bit of its kick. It still kicks, though.

One thing that made Replenish so crazy, is that when you cast it on turn 5, you generally brought 8 or so enchantments back from your graveyard... and then you could activate your Serra Sanctum to play two or three more enchantments in the same turn. This card brings back 2-4 enchantments on turn five. That's hella more sane.

That said, if you asked me "How much would it cost to Zombify an enchantment?" I probably would have responded "Hmm. About {2}{w}." That makes this cost kind of awkward. For a little more color commitment, you're getting quite the kicker...

Returned to original cost.

I returned it to the original cost. I'm pretty sure I edited this late at night, and I'm not sure why I made the change I did.
