I made this card before the creation of Stone Idol Trap which goes really bonkers with it.

Before Stone Idol Trap, I would have said you'd be better to just say "its splice cost is equal to its trap cost" which even if isn't official terminology, is perfectly standardised and clear. But that doesn't really work for Stone Idol Trap. Or maybe it does, if the trap cost is just 5{r} less the number of attacking creatures.
