OK so now that we have DFCs I decided to revisit my old "Mount" cards and re-imagine them. This is how I am looking at handling them.
I originally had the transformed card named Mounted Dragon but then I realised how that could be taken by all of you juvenile magic players :-)
Unfortunately state-based effects will put the unattached aura in the graveyard before the triggered ability transforms it.
You can possibly get around this by making it an Equipment without an equip cost.
Also, the unattached line probably wants to be templated like the Grafted equipment: "unattached from a permanent".
Otherwise, cool card :)
