I don't get this card's flavor. The hippocampus is part of the brain. Do you mean hippopotamus?

A Hippocampus is also a creature from Greek Mythology that is half Horse half Fish, which is where the flavour of this comes from.

"The creature was said to have the head and front legs of a horse and the tail & hindquarter of a serpent or a fish, a curious creature indeed." They were used to pull Poseidon/Neptune's chariot.
