Doesn't really need the "or you lose the game" line... I mean, unless you want to choose to lose the game... you could always just sacrifice this creature...

It is a hefty drawback, but it's a hefty creature to make up for it: a 5/5 on turn 1 is more than many decks will be able to deal with.

I do like that if you're paying all life all the time starting on turn 1, this will kill you just before it kills the opponent. But if you're happy to tap Swamps, I think this is rather too much better than Flesh Reaver.
