Does it need the sacrifice clause? Once you're out of counters, it's useless except as sacrifice fodder. Besides, you can have an empty ammo case.
It keeps the battlefield tidier.

Heh. Okay, I guess having the battlefield zone scattered with spent Ammunition Cases is undeniably flavourful :)
