Not only putting Mystic Snake to shame, but Forbid too? Even for me, that's a bit much.

I got to admit, I would play this card if it were a 1/1 with no way to return it to your hand. In fact, I'd consider it better than most four casting cost counterspells.

This is too good. It shouldn't have better stats than Mystic Snake...

Funny thing is, I was thinking about this card and realized that it's a strong rare without the "counter target creature" part. Then I realized that that was Wydwen, the Biting Gale. That's a pretty good card... I seen people play with it, and this trumps that without countering.

Also, this is better than a {1}{u}{u}{u} cost enchantment that reads {2}{u}{u}{u}{u}: Counter target spell. And that card is pretty damn strong.

When I created this, in my head I was comparing it to Cryptic Command.
