Hmm. Bramblecrush made more expensive (albeit more common); or Rootgrapple made slower and less tree-y.

Those two cards also indicate that your card's name isn't following the pattern correctly. May I suggest Tubersquish?

There's so many options. Thornbreak... Stemstrangle... Leafsunder... Stamensever... Xylemrend... But I do particularly like Tubersquish.
