One of those ideas that came to me, and I knew it should be a card. Could have been white... but the flavor would have changed to three triplets. That seems fine, until you realize one doesn't die when two are killed simultaneously, which raises odd questions...

I'm mildly amused by the legend rule not applying to a non legend... Still, kinda interesting. Mostly equivalent to a 6/2 though, which is pretty damn nice for cmc4.

Oh, hey, I had this as an 'as' trigger because I thought the Legendary rule would make it explode... but it doesn't. There's only one creature in play, then there are three. Silly me. Thanks Alex.

Hmm, I think the rule about "second-and-subsequent copies of a Legend's name get abbreviated" should be relaxed here. I don't actually provide a way to override that. You can just hard-code its name in the text box, or move the legend-rule-modifying ability to before the token-making ability.

Very right. It's easy to forget this when plugging away, but rather important in "Super-50%-of-creatures-is-Legends" town
