Almost gave type "faerie spirit" as a real-world lore reference.
While faerie stories (not to be confused with fairy tales) could be something used in folk horror, the older faerie stories where faeries were spirits of the dead just doesn't mesh with the vision of the Glasmarn area to justify the faerie type.
