To Follow (((Azure, Gravity Well))) for (((Challenge # 033)))
We've had a lot of creatures and a few Auras so I thought I'd expand to other card types.
This card is in an interesting place. At its current casting cost, it's way worse than Cancel and Discombobulate. I would suggest it cost
, but then it's better than Convolute. Perhaps it would be best at
?
It would only be better than Convolute in the late game. However, Convolute usually gets worse in the late game, so who's fault is it really?
Continues on to (((The Price is Right))).
I think the cost of this is sitting about right. As a mid-late game counter it is going to be more powerful, especially if your opponent has cheated anything big into play.
Mind you, in the right deck you can cast this as early as turn 3 (thinking specifically of a green/blue ramp/denial deck)
I don't think it is correctly costed, because Cancel is always better, and assorted

hard counterspells like Dismiss, Last Word etc are also always better. One
in the cost is more normal for a soft counterspell like this one.
