I'm concerned that sacrificing a permanent will let you return that same permanent to your hand, which makes dumb combos very easy. This might want a restriction of lesser mana value like Death's Oasis

@dude1818 I was wondering about that too, but if I remember correctly similar cards only work that way if they say "choose a card" rather than "target card," because when the ability goes on the stack the sacrificed creature is non-targetable. If I'm wrong I'll reverse the effect, making you return a permanent card that doesn't share a creature type. Nice catch, thank you

By the time this trigger goes on the stack, the sacrificed permanent is already in the graveyard, which would make it a legal target for the ability. Typically the reason this kind of ability wouldn't target is so that your opponent can't respond by exiling the card you're trying to get back
