The second part is meant to be that if this enchants a Sol Ring, the Sol Ring could tap for
or whatever you want.
I think the latter ability needs to be a replacement effect. "If enchanted permanent would add mana, you may have it add mana of any color instead."
Given it's already color washing, why not make the activated ability tap for
, so you get all 6 types of mana?
Followed dude1818's suggestion.
1st: The mana ability has an unnecessary 'color' in there.
2nd: You want the Aura to have that second ability not the enchanted artifact.
3rd: I think it would be better as "would add any amount of mana, you may have it add that much mana in any combination of colors and/or colorless instead." Otherwise it could be read as ambiguous towards "
or
, but not
".
"any combination of colors and/or colorless" is equivalent to "any combination of types," but that's considered confusing
And because that wording is confusing, I suggest a less confusing wording. You can also skip the "and/or colorless" unless the set specifically cares about it. And if the set cares about it... that should resolve the confusion.
