I feel like this would be marginally more fun if it said "your opponents can't cast spells with mana value X," because then you remove the opportunity for someone to cast accidentally cast a spell into it and get it countered. Misplaying around on-board tricks always feels terrible

Otoh, then it feels more white than blue

So... how is the intended interaction with proliferate for this one? I ask, because this is certainly not a wording I'd expect to see on a canon card.

Also a really hard concept to get a good blue-feeling art description out of.

@dude1818- I figured that, especially at mythic, most modern designs aren't symmetrical and only downside opponents.
But while the core concept was inspired by Spell Snare, I acknowledge that when put on an enchantment the ability seems white.

@SecretInfiltrator- I wasn't fully thinking through on the wording; the should just say "Whenever an opponent casts a spell with a mana value equal to the number of Threat counters on ~, counter it."
Art I would picture a scowling mage (front view, probably human) who has their wand drawn standing (or possibly floating since magic) above a person (back view, also probably human) who gives off cowering vibes and has also done something negative (maybe a Name-Plate Blaster)? Both characters should be wearing clothing that would fit a Wild West theme. Since Magic cards now tend to use colors in the art to match the card's color, the wand should either be blue or emanating blue from it. A big open blue sky should be in the upper background. Blue should accent the scowling mage's outfit (such a turquoise bolo tie and blue accents on their boots).

"Player" vs "opponent" was not my complaint about the card. I just mistyped my example. My issue is with "counter" vs "can't be cast"
