I chose (((Hydrolatice))) and Random Generator gave me Avalanche. The obvious choice would be to make lands snow, then destroy snow lands, but, yeah. Snow lands.
It's possible that this is undercosted, I don't know. At each casting cost you pay, it seems fair... but the versatility of X can be kind of funny.
I find it pleasing that with X=1, this is one mana more expensive than Reap and Sow in either mode, but it gets equal to it when Reap and Sow is entwined, save that this needs one more coloured mana.
BTW, the search template doesn't say "through". Saves you a word here and there.
Heck, yeah! That one word can save a lot of space on a large number of cards...
Insta-add for EDH decks... and ewwww....I would not want to face this late game were its just X2GG nuke target(s) opponent's lands.
This is a rare, at least.
Hmm... unfortunately, this is part of a cycle of entwiners. Though I can see why you think this is rare. Looking at it again, I have to admit it looks rare to me.
I'm highlighting this comment and coming back to it later. I might toss this card back on the workbench for the second set, and just make a new green entwine uncommon. It would be cool to see a second entwine cycle in rare anyway.
Moved because Joz is right. This is rare.
