Random generator gave me Curiosity and Wind Drake and that combination produced the easiest mashup I've ever had. I thought about making this an uncommon for {1}{u}{u}... a reverse Hypnotic Specter if you will... but this set needs more commons, and this card fits nicely. Truth is, the card doesn't look that special, but it's probably too cheap for common. That's one hell of an effect if unopposed, and this guy has the potential to spoil a number of drafts...

It turns out the flavor text was a bit trickier, so I'm kind of thankful for that. Originally, I turned the Exodus Curiosity flavor text on its ear by showing a different side of the story:

All Crovax wanted to do was rest, but he couldn't ignore the terrible suspicion that he would soon answer Selenia's question.

But that was inappropriate for the card's subject matter. Instead, I borrowed from Portal's Wind Drake and twisted Sir William Blake's words.

Thieving Magpie was originally uncommon, but Scroll Thief was common, so this is probably OK at common.

But, erm, was it meant to have flying?

Oh. Yes. Yes, it was. Changing.
