This card is not very interesting. Unappealing rewards and potentially limited control over what you are getting.

If the card was a modal "Choose one", it still wouldn't be an appealing card.

This also doesn't send a message towards a theme - do you want to find a land or not? It's not like one of the outcomes is preferable enough to drive deck building.

Different cards with the same type of effect are permanents and give you multiple attempts. I think, this effect can work better with some kind of recursion or repetition effect e. g. buyback or at least rebound - if you insist on the instant.

Honestly, I was just thinking about the character in my head and wanted a white spell to associate with their name.
