White ninja? I think so.
Hm. I think this is actually underpowered, and could be printed as a simple 1/1 with flash. White ninjas seem like a fun space to explore in general, though.
I made it more just to make a white ninja that to try to make a good card, but you're probably right in that it could be better.
I considered doing some different stuff with it, but I ended up just making it relatively generic. I thought about both giving it no mana cost and only a ninjutsu cost and about giving it a blue ninjutsu cost.
I know it would be better with flash, but I liked it with ninjutsu so it could save two creatures, if one of your unblocked attackers was about to catch a Lightning Bolt to the face.
Does anyone else hope they return to Kamigawa, or is it just me? I know that set is rather disliked, but I enjoyed the flavor...
I enjoyed Kamigawa a lot. Rachael and I are actually playing through doing a series of drafts from my collection of Kamigawa cards (I sorted them into colours and then into 15-card repack boosters), and I'm remembering how much I enjoyed the set. Splice was incredibly fun, soulshift could lead to a pleasing amount of card advantage, and the soratami, orochibito and ogres/oni had nice mechanical themes as well.
Sadly, I didn't start playing until the tail end of Zendikar/ M11, so I never got to experience Kamigawa, really. I only own a few Kamigawa cards. I should see if I can get my roommate to do some sealed games on OCTGN with me.
