One-sided boardwipe is a little much at five mana. And the additional upside is quite convoluted.

Whoops. I think I'll make the first part into a full-wrath effect then. Maybe up the cost to 7 to be safe? Honestly, I'm not hard on what this card needs to do, I just want a grixis sorcery representing a city of people being transformed into crude oil.

"Destroy all creatures. For each creature destroyed this way, its controller creates a Crude Oil artifact token with '{t}, Sacrifice this: Add {b}.'"?

Maybe making this an enchantment that mass wipes on being cast, and then lets you exile creature cards from your graveyard for various "industrial" effects like Disciple of the Ring.
