I thought I'd play with the idea of land/creature flip cards that I had already touched on in my Snap "set". Idea is that you can play it either as a land OR as a creature. Use as a land early or as a creature later so you don't have to worry about mana screw or mana flood.
Specifically calls out on the card that it can't be flipped.
So... everyone who wants to be competitive is forced to play this land? Because it is currently better than a forest...
Wow. I was looking at Duel Masters mechanics, and this is incredibly similar to how that game handles mana. All creatures can basically be played as either a creature or a land, and they produce mana of their colors. Interesting.
jmg: I think the idea is that every creature would have this kind of ability.
Yeah Duel Masters:The Gathering is kinda what I was thinking here. If this were going into a regular magic set it would have a drawback say ETB - which I have now added to make it not so crazy. Also note that this is not a basic land so you could only have 4 of.
