  But they're only creatures this turn, so the effect basically reads, Pay 7 mana, gain 8 life. If you can get multiple prays off in a turn cool, but that's still basically only enhancing the amount of life you are gaining since you are going to have to tap the lands. They can't attack. This works ok-ish when combined with other cards that Pray for a smaller cost, but its still pretty weak.

  More importantly than any of that, the slot for RG05 is listed as a Giant Creature. I don't think this matches that identity.

  These cards are ostensibly real cards from a set. So the slot is for a build-around-uncommon for the hypothetical draft environment these duel decks are built from.

  In the deck itself, I think providing the U/R deck with an alternative to combat damage is important when the G/W deck is going to be gaining tons and tons of life.
