If that's the effect you want, it could be "choose one -- deal 1 damage to target creature, or target creature can't block this turn". That's almost the same under the rules, but maybe people are more likely to remember that "can't block this turn" has to be before blockers if it's a separate ability.
I don't think it's a bad card, per se, but that's way too high a cost. An artifact that untaps a permanent every turn costs about
. I'd assume this very restrictive untapping artifact should cost
and equip for
.
Blegh, probably definitely too complex for common.
Interesting. I don't think it should be at common, though. Also, I assume this is supposed to let you search your library as well? Otherwise it would be quite difficult to find cards to exile.
It's not pointless - it lets you shoot annoying utility 1/1 creatures; which is sometimes really useful.
But yeah; it really wants to be able to say "That blocking creature? It can't. Choose again." No idea how to word that though.
This sounds like a fine tweak on Mugging, except that the timing will confuse people (they'll try to play this after the creature has blocked, which won't work).
I think this should read "When that creature dies this turn, destroy target land its owner controls."
As it stands, dealing a creature 1 damage is pointless. Should I change the ability to simply "target creature can't block this turn"?
