i'd wait on art selection until after the playtest, you might find yourself going back to the drawing board more than you think
Card naming complete! Art assignment and card comment addressing before moving to first playtest.
it's so great being able to make narrow cards like this with gleeful abandon
yeah agreed. probably a good general principle to echo abilities unless there's a good flavour reason or w/e
uhh 'whenever a player infuses a card' I mean to say
feels weird that the creature has a really unique effect that it isn't at all echoed by the cycle effect.
yeah, if you've attacked with this guy enough times to get him to 6 counters, you've most likely already won. also edicts tend to be pretty mediocre in limited. This guy wouldn't be out of line at rare if he just had an edict on etb.
I like this.
can't make my mind up whether this is awful or too good. awful because if you are land screwed then you can't pay to infuse. too good because getting drawing 5-6 lands over the course of the game is pretty powerful.
as with a lot of the infuse cards, probably comes down to the speed of the format.
'where x is the EXILED creature's power'
probs too powerful. make the trigger more expensive to prevent it being a pseduo insurrection?
I think I would change the discharge to just adding a second target. pointlessly convoluted otherwise.
this card is kind of unplayable with BB casting cost. why not just 1B?
sacrificing a creature just such a steep cost. give it lifelink or something and it's probably quite powerful, especially if first picked.
I like giving this flash.
also maybe bumping p/t a bit and shifting to uncommon.
bad things are going to happen with this at common.
noncreature nonland card plz. feels weird on blue to get lands back.
in terms of power level I mean
this card is kind of crappy
I think this should read 'whenever you infuse a card'
losing creature types is weird, why not make it a soldier?
pretty fucking annoying to have to play around this at common.
won't actually trigger that often.
also the wording should probably be the same as laccolith titan. or something like 'any combat damage it would deal until end of turn is dealt to target creature instead' or w/e.
Mm, yeah, I guess that's fair. Why the asymmetrical

in the cost of this and Blood Tide, by the way?
getting a 6/6 for 5 more than makes up for it though
