Hm. So it's a Glory Seeker for a few turns, and after it's fought two 1/1s (or bounced off a 1/3 a couple of times), it gives up and turns into a Stone Calendar.
Mr Squawk, like many of the Darter's crew is a misfit, shown mechanically by his mana cost (as all gold cards in the block are allied colour combinations except for the Darter and her crew).
Mmm, Stone Calendar is still really a quite nice effect to have though. Make this a bit harder to outright kill (2/4 perhaps?) and it's a deal.

A bit curious, and although I'm not sure it feels a bit underwhelming to me. will get you Sygg, River Guide; will get you Grand Arbiter Augustin IV.
Oh man. Is Topman a sailing term? This would get a lot of naughty jokes about it, just fyi.
Still need to add abilities in.
Not terribly sure about this one, I THINK it works, but need to playtest it some more.
why not indeed
Why not just name it Birds of Paradise like the token spellshapers from Future Sight did? (cf. Llanowar Mentor)
I couldn't resist the Pirates of the Caribbean nod on this guy.
Thanks Alex
"Whenever ~ attacks and isn't blocked", as in Coral Fighters, Guiltfeeder etc.

Had to create this set early because Storm is not supposed to have any gold cards - I just got a bit carried away.
So in this set, you start to meet specific personalities that you have been introduced to through the flavour text of the cards in Storm.
