The creature halves pleasantly try to be different by using different keywords that can play different roles.
Source
Does very little to form an opinion on. Not a combat trick since it is a sorcery. Will throw people off.
Source
Double strike at common!?
Source
How great is it too end the booster on a Minion. f there has been one theme to this world I thoroughly enjoyed is seeing those unlikely subtypes make a return.
I haven't seen any manlands, but this sure makes me think there should be some in there.

As time passes Towers become less tall, but old age removes all ailments from your creatures. Unless one of them gets all sick at once, from then on change stops.
Source
Should be "As long as you control a Forest ..."
Brick counters for everything. Now artifacts and Towers. Losing focus here. No use of advance.
Source
Too much going on. Not using the advance keyword here despite using brick counters is a strike against advance.
Source
Inflated use of keyword actions. Also considering "height", how is "advance" not called "heighten"?
Maybe advance shouldn't be a keyword at all though.
Source
Simple version of the mechanic. All well and fine, but this is the guy who made the mistake of removing the exile-clause from conscribe.
Source
The neat part is that Tower is already an established land Type and not something introduced for this set. Not only obscure creature types getting their share of love.
Source
Funny without flavor text. Doesn't mean it doesn't deserve some.
Source
How is this not broken at a glance? EDIT: The set notes were lacking the exile clause. Much better.
This card has no room for flavor text AT ALL.
Source
Trepanation. Well, that costs the Tower every last sympathy point it may have had, right?
Source
Not a Treefolk. Wither is a small step from introducing -1/-1 counters earlier, but it is a step that doesn't seem necessary.
Getting to know the way the Tower communicates.
Source
Leech farming is more dangerous than anticipated.
The -1/-1 counters here help make the world feel bleak and the lower class toil more real.
The token creature type also gets a honorary mention for being another outlier.
