In Phlea the animal kingdom sits at the bottom of the food chain. Hyperevolved plants and fungi rule this plane, with a council of ancient treefolk whose plans have existed since the plane's beginning and their dryad agents instill a repressive respect for nature in the "lesser" beings of flesh. Can a revolution of elves against the trees they once worshiped overturn this order - or should it?

Creature – Elf Rebel
Whenever Grubleaf Iconoclast deals combat damage to an opponent, that player sacrifices an artifact or enchantment.
Whenever Grubleaf Iconoclast becomes blocked, you may untap Grubleaf Iconoclast and remove it from combat.
Dash {1}{r}{g} (You may cast this spell for its dash cost. If you do, it gains haste, and it's returned from the battlefield to its owner's hand at the beginning of the next end step.)
Hit and run tactics are much easier when your targets are trees.

Dash seems like a fairly arbitrary addition to the set...

On Rootdrainer:

Should have admire itself and "Other creatures with haste have admire."

Admire on haste makes sense. Admire by itself is a lot of words for far less sense.

On Pineclad Lifebinder:

They can admire themselves. and with a good Spirit lord they can even admire the token they create.

It's a red hot chili pepper.

That shroom is totally high on its own metabolism.

This is a very weird use of a counter. Even if spore counters are now a theme in the set and this is meant as a support card, the fire-breathing is just a little disappointing of a pay-off for all the things that have to happen beforehand to make it matter.

On Rule the Glens:

The good news is, that while the token created with populate is not a legal target to fight with, the token you replicate certainly is.
