Tryna make an uncommon Deadeye Tracker
It doesn't seem to be the CMC that matters. Maybe the activation cost needs to be higher? To be fair, this is pretty close in power to the tracker, albeit uncommon.
Yeah, maybe i'll just make a functional reprint of ghostly sentinel, i was trying to not copy your reference point exactly, but i try to avoid red flags.
Although flavorfully this card could definitely be a 4-devotion CMC, mechanically it's fruitless
Well, 90% of the time you don't want such a color-intensive mana cost at common to begin with, but you are talking about +1 toughness over Aven Sentry, so if you use such a prohibitive cost it might work.
But basically you'd make a harder to pay cost than the one of Ghostly Sentinel even turn 5.
This makes sense. I remember hearing angels are at smallest 3/3s, and also at common this would likely be a 3/3 at most... So I guess i'll also make it a 5 drop for balance reasons? Or could it be 4 with extra white devotion?
Yeah, the Star counter thing is mechanically inadequate. I've been trying to develop it flavor wise, but that's not the biggest issue.
Besides sharing similarities to Jewels, which i've also heard the same criticisms about, it's nothing new except being mono red.
I haven't figured out how to fix this yet, without leaving a massive whole in two of my sets
This still seems as directionless as the star counter mechanic as a whole. It deals a lot of damage, but not in an exciting way. It's not even a matter of more power being put in this. That's an impressive amount of damage.
Serra Angel is one of the most well-known french vanillas of the game and proves itself to be a decent uncommon - ever since she's an uncommon she's been one of the best for white, first-pickable straight B.
I was curious for this card in particular since I had been about to make a common Angel myself - for reference: Guardian Angel.
Strictly better Serra Angel at common? It even has an additional relevant creature type. Seems a bit crazy.
also doesn't generally get 4+ power creatures at this rarity. It's one of those principles made to make and differ from each other. is quite weenie oriented in multiple ways.
why is this a mythic? the way that is written it is AT BEST a 5 mana 2/2 that can shock something whenever it attacks. Did you mean to make this effect repeatable?
Might've been. I don't know where to check.

Maybe put both costs up by 1?
Undercost. Wasn't the previous version already a quiet pushed flier with slightly lower p/t.

would a 3/3 FLY VIGIL for be acceptable?
