This is, like, a good 20% of my set :)
Thought 1. It's normally impossible to design an ambiguous magic card, even if the interpretation according to the rules is bizarre, unexpected, or not defined, there's not two different valid readings. Is there any card text that WOULD be ambiguous?
Thought 2. This set is a good example of how it would be useful to have a one-sentence that was repeated on each card page somewhere (under the card, or under the cardset name) to head off people accidentally commenting on a card and not realising that set has different (or opposite!) design standards to normal :)
Probably per-cardset (although possibly having a selection for options like "working title", "not copyedited" etc might be nice in theory).
"Ambiguous"... hmm. There's probably some fiddly wordings which refer to "that creature" or "that player". Several old cards whose Oracle text now says "the first creature" or "the first player" could be made ambiguous if "the first" was replaced with "that".
I think I tend to hope border colour would hint towards what you're after with thought 2. A card with silver border ought to trigger a "this isn't trying to do the normal things" reflex. But it might be too subtle.
Ah, good point. I hadn't noticed you'd used the silver border here (I used a grey-everything-out plugin). But that's not quite right: designs for actually printable silver-border cards are different to card designs which are a joke for designers.
