Disaster is a mechanic that lets targeted spells become boardwipes and other double-edged effects if played immediately upon drawing. It effectively combines Overload with Miracle.
Used to represent active good and heroism as feats of skill and daring against overwhelming odds. Primarily used in Aggro decks as a way to keep pressure on while building forces.
This is a mechanic used to represent long-term plans and plots, or research and excavation efforts. It is primarily meant for Control decks, using Forbidden cards as a win condition.

This is a mechanic used to represent exploration and exploitation efforts by neutral groups like adventurers, mercenaries and the like. It is primarily used for Attrition decks, since it combos well with revival effects.
In card text or details pages, write the mechanic's code name (playtest name) between square brackets, like "[Crittercast]", "[Bushido 1]" or "[Delay 4 {2}{R}{R}]". It will be expanded to the mechanic's name plus reminder text, such as "Suspend 4 – . (Rather than cast this spell from your hand,...)"
To expand a mechanic's name but not its reminder text, include parentheses at the end of the square brackets: "[Crittercast()]", "[Delay 9 {R}()]".
