Mechanics | Skeleton

Eloria is a plane where time flows swiftly, where the world cycles through an endless loop of birth, growth, and apocalypse, and stories passed down through generations have magical meaning. Visiting planeswalkers will find their battles can span centuries, and they can call upon creatures and spells and tales from all of Eloria's time periods.

But they can't spend too long marveling at time's passage - the demon lord Bazor, angered by being forgotten by the world, has vowed to purge the memory of all stories, so that his army can rule Eloria forever, upsetting the balance of life and death. Will you side with him? Or will you help the people of Eloria remember their forefathers' stories? It's all up to you.

On Entropic Barrier:

Shutting down smaller creatures entirely seems a bit harsh.

On Mindbane Scout:

Harrow seems mono-{b}. Is the idea her that this is like a punisher type of thing? Those are pretty one-offs rather than keywords.

On Swelter Fiend:

Grind is slang for "mill until you hit a land." But more importantly that ^

On Swelter Fiend:

.... milling isn't red?

On Hishum, Who Remembers:

If it had a shorter name, maybe. It's only barely fitting on as it is, though :)

I do like the flavour.

On Hishum, Who Remembers:

This doesn't have that much rules text; can't it get some reminder text?

On Memory Thief:

Feels super black, but actually not super non-blue.

I inherently expect this to be a flyer just for being a blue rare 4/4. Weird how conditioning works.

On Mindbane Emissary:

I lowered its power, thanks for the tip. I should mention, though, that almost all demons in the set will be CMC 5 or greater.

On Paradox Haze:

Cool reprint, but at the moment the only card in this set that would do anything with this would be Brazengan, Caravan Leader. Is that an oversight?

On Obsessed Student:

Ugh, really bad. Wall of Mist already sucks hard.
