Huh. Nice simple version of the mechanic; and strong but not ridiculously so. I like it. A mid-game 2/2 first striker they really need to care about. It dos kinda encourage hanging back and not attacking until your creatures have thawed out. That might be a problem, but you won't know without testing.

The mechanic itself is of course green; but the flavour shifts it just fine, and the limit on the groth makes it just distinct enough to work.
