Enemy colored wedge vs. mono color focus set. Plane takes place on Mongseng, a prison plane that Nicol Bolas uses for 'walkers and other degenerates that displease him.

Well, you know that Buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo.
I choose... buffalo!
I like this version best. ("Choose one – Stuff, Stuff, Stuff")
As it currently is, it does give you a bit of mana fixing. But it's really hard to cast - you already have to have the mana it fixes! And for that cost you can get one of the "Tap for any one of three colour mana" artifacts (which still aren't all that good)
Howsabout giving you (up to) one of each land? As it's to hand, it shouldn't be too horribly accelerating.
If you want instant-speed, this is still a lot worse than Sprouting Vines. I've played with Sprouting Vines before, and it's only worth using if you're getting at least 2 lands from it.
As it uses the bare descriptors "Island" and "Swamp" (as opposed to "Island or Swamp card", 109.2 says that it only refers to permanents that are already on the battlefield. So a literal reading of the text would allow it to steal an opponent's Island or Swamp, and that's about the only effect of such an ability. Quite a strong hoser there.
But that wording probably isn't going to stay for very long.
From where?
SM - those are all sorcery spells. This isn't. Sorry about the reveal thing it used to be onto the battlefield and I changed it and forgot to put the reveal clause in.
That change was proposed on the Rules Theory / Templating forum, where the Rules Team do look and join in discussions. I don't think they commented on that one. It's a very sensible idea if you're designing the game from scratch, but as a change to apply after 19 years of printing cards it's complicated.
Can we please just fix the comp rules for searching? Reveal if there's a condition to prove and shuffle always just seems like it should be included in the template.
