Good idea!
Rephrase my question: REPEATED blue discard at common? Even in black you don't get specter effects at common!
None of these cards are good examples. Serum Raker is from a "bleed black into everything else" block, Minamo's Meddling is the only option for anti-splice counter effects and Frightful Delusions was from a graveyard set.
"Send to the Stars"? As a side note, I just realised Lost in the Mist would make a surprisingly fitting reprint.
Goblins and Orcs are synonymous in Tolkien's universe, Goblins was used in the Hobbit because 'Orc' is not technically an English word, but they are one and the same. In the actual LotR Trilogy, they are called Orcs many times.
"...where the warg howls, there also the orc prowls."
"The wolf that one hears is worse than the orc that one fears."
Frightful Delusion, Minamo's Meddling, Serum Raker
I'm trying to think of a more Tolkienesque name for this one.
Weren't the warg-riders goblins?
Blue discard in common? Isn't that ridiculously good (not to mention pie-breaking)?
This is a rather mystifying choice of name for a LotR themed set. Was this meant to be Void Snare?
