Tendo Ice Bridge & Grim Captain's Call
a bit long, but i think it's interesting. advice would be appreciated!
Bit long is a bit of an understatement.
The two abilities don't quite dove-tail nicely; but I guess you can bounce something and then stop them recasting it, if they already have something of that sort dead. The fact that this steals a creature every two turns is pretty good, but doesn't feel broken. I can see them printing this, or something like it - though I'm unclear as to why it's a n artifact.
I can see where you're inspired from the two source cards; so yeah; cool.
it also shuts down opponents tribal, as it can pull cards from any graveyard.
quite long, tried to find a way to shorten it, couldnt.
they synergize, but yeh, not instantly or ultra-clearly/cleanly
it also bounces, forces discard, and steals or reanimates.
it does a whole lot, which may be a bit of a problem. i was tryna find a way to put pirates into ice theme.
it's an artifact because i didnt think creatures could get charge counters, am i wrong?
Any counter can go on anything, it's just not typically done. What about just ice counters or something flavorful?
Great idea! thanks for the innovative redirection!
i wonder if someone could combo this with Marit Lage :P
Made a legend cause realised you dont need this being used more than that
