Seems a bit good... Maybe two lands?

Also this is oddly worded, and would be perfect as a cantrip :) which i know u liek

a.k.a. its "free"

Oh cool. Awesome design, i'll use this in the future! Thanx!

oh i didnt mean i'll steal it from you, I mean it's already a thing, i just didn;t know about it yet... Sorry if im confusing more than just myself ;p

Free draw (Gitaxian Probe?) - better if you have lands that produce more than two mana. What could possibly go wrong here? :P

Really, the reaason Rewind and Unwind work are that they are reactive spells and hence can be in a cost range very realtable to the spell without the untap clause.

Comparing this with a sorcery speed spell that just draws a card arguably you added almost the whole mana cost on that spell. This isn't a card draw spell featuring the "free" mechanic, this is an "Untap stuff" spell that also cantrips. And the "Untap multiple lands" spell here is not something you are going to use fairly.

This way this is also situated terribly at common. This isn't a Limited card. This is a card someone tries to break in Constructed.

Would the clause for basic-lands only be better do you guys think? or would that not solve a sufficient number of problems

What's something that shouts epiphany, but fits here. hmmm...

maybe drawing cards, with a different twist. :|

How about: Draw a card, then you may untap a number of lands less than or equal to the cards CMC?

The cards with this effect were horribly broken. But that is mainly because Tolarian Academy was around at the same time.

In an environment with only sane lands; it's probably OK. I mean, drawing and casting this card is almost identical to not having it in your deck, drawnig a different card, and not casting it yet.

maybe Untap up to three basic lands would make this much more reasonable in all situations?

Then again Gift of Paradise and the like exist..

would adding nonenchanted be going too far?

i am slightly concerend about 'free' card draw. The card is rather strong. maybe it could say just basics. Or just islands, even better. I will try that, see if it works.

is target necessary here? Could just be shortened to untap up to three Islands.

I don't think it's a huge worry about being basic. I'm quite sure (though i get confused by lands a lot) that most powerful lands (that aren't duals or anything like that) don't have subtypes. Tolarian Academy is just a land, so it should all be fine being limited to Islands. Yes this can untap the original dual lands, but if you have those, well, good for you
