See Siren's Wail. I like certain tropes and this one I like especially.
Hybrid though? Very aggressive milling for a
card. Usually
only does it in small amounts, is (at least) symmetrical (Shared Trauma), or only targets yourself.
This is somewhat off-topic, but kinda related to bury (plus this site has no way to send private messages?). What do you think about removing "then shuffle your library / then that player shuffles his or her library" from various cards and instead adding the reminder text at the end (and changing the rules):
> (Whenever a library is searched, its owner’s shuffles it afterwards.)
It's fine right? And kinda obvious too.
Feels underpowered, like, worse than Hedron Crab. At least make it "Whenever a player casts a spell".
I am not certain what rules for black mill Wizards actually follows. There is Grisly Spectacle and "grind" as seen on Balustrade Spy.
My personal philosophy is that black is more likely to mill themselves or symmetrically (or "cap"/fateseal an opponent), but both blue and black are entirelyable to use mill in either way.
I only know that Hedron Crab was actually quite powerful. I feel "Whenever a player casts a spell" does interact unintuitively in multiplayer.
I'LL have to make up my mind on how to revise this.
Maybe Siren's Wail's text shifted to hybrid is a better choice?

Here is a thread for you with my reply.
