Wow. A 9-mana common. I guess the idea is that if green can have giant common fatties, it's fair for the other colours to get it occasionally. Reminiscent of Primoc Escapee, but rather worse.

Makes a lot more sense once you've seen the set has things like Draco Maleficus :) But even then, I wouldn't really play this in any normal deck. Would be much more playable if it had something like cycling, even cycling .

I like it for its effect on Limited, which is what half the cards at common are meant for anyway. I can see this card pass late (assuming there are no new players to Magic at the table), then ending up in the hands of a player who decides that maybe they can play a G/W deck with a lot of mana ramp. Sounds like a fun goal, and, again, isn't much more spectacular than a G/W ramp deck that makes giant Green creatures instead.

This is one of the cards I'm interested in seeing how it performs in a real draft. I'll keep an eye on it when we draft 20XD6...
