Hm. A customisable Manabarbs. Exile something like Lignify for maximum confusion.
Indeed. Lone Bull got bumped up to rare, and this card got bumped down to uncommon in the process. Though I admit, it's pretty frickin' powerful. It's going do exile a land 95% of the times (sometimes, an artifact creature, I suppose), and the game will become "end this soon, or kill this creature".
I don't think the card is 'broken' as a 2/2 for
, but it is probably less fun at that cost. Especially since it will now pop up in draft a heck of a lot more often, and on round three very often. Changing its P/T and CC.
Also, I claim no responsibility for how messed up Tribal is. It was my complaint for the worst thing that happened to Magic in the past few years in my Great Designer Search 2 entry. Quick summation: If they couldn't agree with their rules team, and just have the line "Encantment - Treefolk Aura", then they shouldn't have bothered at all. It doesn't add enough to the game. But, if they were going to go ahead with this plan, despite its awkwardness, they should have gone all out, putting Tribal on more than half of the non-creature cards, and finding more ways for it to matter.
