Why not make this "You may choose a card named Pearled Unicorn or Pearled Charger you own from outside the game, reveal that card, and put it into your hand." Then Pearled Charger becomes vanilla and makes more sense.

Either way, you should change the wording to match the rest of the Wishes, like I did in my example. The ownership and reveal clauses are important.

Because this card is affected by my previous core set. The cards in 20XX ask you to put a card named Pearled Unicorn into your hand. If I changed this card, I'd have to go back and change ten total other cards in 20XX (for the entire cycle x2 cards) plus, I'd have to do that for the third evolution of this cycle in the third set of the block... and I'm likely to make yet another card named 'Pearled Unicorn' in that set as well.

Honestly, all this stuff works well from this angle. It's easily the most popular mechanic in 20XX... it just really, really looks weird when all you have to look at is 20XD6.

Which reminds me, that at some point, I should just put 20XX on Multiverse. Problem is, it's a year old. But I need to go back and clean it up anyway for public consumption. I've never figured out exactly what I'm supposed to be doing when I go to print these cards. I used MTGMaker for 20XX, and the cards look really nice, but gathering the images alone took me way too long. I might just want to put the cards into Multiverse, then reprint everything with 20XD6. It wouldn't be as pretty, but at least all the cards would be together.

If you have images, Multiverse is happy to handle them. Look at The Oncoming Storm for an example.

Oh, hm... that is a possibility, isn't it? I'll look into it.

I would love to see what you did with 20XX. Based on 20XD6, it seems like it would cool.
