Name changed from War Hounds back to Stilldeep Sentry.

So its really a 2/2 for {w} ? far too strong. If it gained +1/+1 whenever it blocks or becomes blocked it would be OK at common.

It would also be a clone of Devoted Retainer at that point.

I'm trying to create a flavorful variant on the white one-drop that attacks for two that's in pretty much every set. Any ideas?

What if, you had it get +1/+0 if it attacks and isn't blocked? wouldn't be a sentry then, more of a scout but it would give you the 2 attack???

This seems fine as is to me. It gets killed by any 1-damage effect, even a Rain of Blades if they time it right.
