ooh i like this
but i don't like the idea of rules text that references the way a different (and super-rare) card type works
Thanks. I agree with you, but I can't seem to find a way to concisely say how structures work, since there's so much rules baggage to planeswalkers. (Especially that weird "redirect damage") rule.
Maybe I should just make it a slightly different ability, "Structures enter the battlefield with hit counters. They can be attacked, lose hit counters from combat damage, and are destroyed with zero hit counters." though NOW people will wonder if you can Lava Spike it.
(This card enters the battlefield with a number of counters on it equal to the number in the bottom-right box. Whenever damage would be dealt to this card, instead remove that many counters from it. When it has zero counters, destroy it.)
keflexxx: But it doesn't say there anywhere that it can be attacked like a player, or that you can redirect spells to it. Haha. I never realized how much implicit rules baggage you have to learn for planeswalkers.
whoops
keflexxx: I fixed it! Not exactly like planeswalkers, but same intent and I think this is as compressed as I can make the text.
