Is this okay, or should I move it down to a 6/6?
Could it be bigger?
Should I shrink it, but replace lifelink with another keyword?
i don't particularly mind having no other creatures and no cards in hand if i have an 8/6 with trample and lifelink
6/6 probably a good move, and it's a good default position for demons anyway
i don't think this guy really gets a lot from bargain though, i'd consider losing it
made a sneaky comment edit btw
Sounds good to me.
The Bargain means you either have the 6/6 for 2bb and 4 life, or you have it for 2bb, possibly another creature, and a card in hand. In a vacuum, it might not be particularly meaningful, but I'll wait to my next play testing iteration before I decide what's best for this card in this set.
What if it had bargain, and gained lifelink as an activation?
My original plan was bargain trample flying
No, I think you're right
Lost bargain
Possible Alternative
(((Devilgrin v2)))
i like this card quite a bit now. it doesn't really feel like a bargain tie-in - the incentive to pay life on the bargaining cards should be what pulls people towards paying life rather than making gaining life worse - but it's a demon, so that actually feels pretty on-point
Warrior -> Shaman
I like this a lot. Is there precedent for demons having class subtypes? Also, sacrifice and discard don't need to be capitalized.
I tend to capitalize keyword actions for some reason; additionally strike in first and double strike.
I am not aware of demons with classes elsewhere, but here on Pemberly they are much more human-like than usual, and fit into ordinary roles in society. I always picture these ones looking kind of like marvel's Lineage. All business.
