It is a little Auger Spree. Rollick of Abandon and Sangrite Backlash also let red kill creatures with this kind of effect. Do you think it is too unusual for common? At sorcery it is pretty hard to use for anything other than 2 damage.
This could be more playable if it was +3/-2 or gave first strike but I decided to start simple.

They've been moving away from this effect. Auger Spree is multicolor, ind you. Rollick of Abandon is a solid example though.

This is probably fine, yeah, but I just worry about further blurring how red and black each remove creatures, you know?
